The Creek Kids Youth Leadership Program provides in-depth training for twenty high-school students. Students work closely with experienced staff to learn about Hagley and prepare the Creek Kids events for the public. Creek Kids begins in December with leadership training, instruction in historical and science content, brainstorming sessions, and hands-on exercises. The participating youth will gain experience working in a nonprofit museum setting, planning and implementing public programs from start to finish, communicating with diverse audiences, and evaluating the success of the programs.
